Gratitude Month!
August was Gratitude Month, and we are pleased to announce the fellowship has generously donated $8,943.70 this year which will be used to help reach the alcoholic of today and tomorrow through our digital presence. This an increase of $4,209.10 over last year’s giving.
We would like to thank all groups and members that generously gave towards this.
Awareness Week is Coming in October
Awareness week will be held 21 to 27 October this year. To help raise awareness we will be running digital media advertising in the NZ Herald online and Stuff online and running ads on iHeart Radio during the month of October. We will also have posters up throughout the country with Phantom Billstickers, from 14 October through to 3 November, so keep an eye out for these.

The hard cover Big Books with jackets (B-1) and 12×12’s (B-2) we had on sale have now run out.
GSO are now offering a special price of $20 for the hard cover jacketless Big Book (B-1A).
Delivery is still free for the time being.

Member Stories
We are pleased to announce there are five member stories that have been added to our website. We are grateful to the five members who have shared their experience, strength and hope, to help carry the message to still suffering alcoholics. Audo files and transcripts can be found here https://aa.org.nz/about-aa/
We encourage you to check them out and share with people who may need to hear these lifesaving stories.
Membership Survey
The Survey Committee, comprising members from each area, is pleased to have a survey proposal ready for Conference to consider. Once approved by Conference, this will be taken to assemblies and the fellowship will have the opportunity to discuss and endorse the proposal.
The committee needs one additional Northern Area and one additional Central Area representative and would appreciate volunteers for these positions. This role will only be busy when data is collected should the survey go ahead. Contact boardkiwi@aa.org.nz
