General Service Office (GSO)
The General Service Office (GSO) is the administration office of the New Zealand General Service Board (NZGSB). As such, its role is to act as the administration office for the fellowship.

Standard opening hours are 09:00am to 2.00pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, but we do suggest that if you are planning to visit, you call first (04 472 4250) to ensure someone will be in the office. The office is staffed by our Business Manager, Susan.
The GSO is involved in the following activities:
- Literature – the office is the authorised agent of AA World Service in the distribution of AA literature in New Zealand
- Conferences – organising venues, booking delegates travel, accommodation and meals
- Board meetings – organising venues, travel and meals.
- Group Services – answers questions relating to AA practices, arranges Public Liability Insurance – for meeting rooms.
- Public information – the office acts as the primary point of contact for the general public, media, employers seeking advice about staff and the professional community.
